hey rhayyan, the term "cantopop", "c-pop music" or whatever you call it seem unfamiliar to me. i recalled around 94-95, eraserheads was the band being sought after along with the introvoys, after image and a couple more pinoy bands that became big hits in the airwaves and the concert circuit. again, i'm sorry for not being of help to you twice. you may be looking out for some alternative bands then, that didn't quite made a name and remained in the alternative circuit.
