Answer
Hi Tee,

The song you're inquiring about is called "Din Daa Daa" by George Kranz and was actually in the movie sequel "Breakin' 2 - Electric Boogaloo"

Although many people would remember that song from the movie, "Din Daa Daa" had already gained radio play from NYC radio stations WBLS & WRKS, as well as from WBMX in Chicago for close to 2 years before "Breakin 2" hit the screens.

The reason for this was because it was already an highly demanded underground favorite of the disco/house movement that was already taking shape in clubs such as The Paradise Garage (NYC), Club Zanibar (NJ), and The Warehouse (Chicago).

True undergound club DJs such as Larry Levan, Frankie Knuckles, Ron Hardy, Tee Scott, Shep Pettibone, "Jackmaster" Farley, and Timmy Regisford were all the usual suspects when it came to breaking new music.

Hope this helps!
