Question
I've been searching a lot of music sites already to find this song's
title and
artist. Also asked Skimmer but he couldn't answer as well.  The lyrics goes "At
night I find that I can't sleep, all day
long I walk the
streets. My mind is filled with misery and pain. Tears fill my eyes
when I call
your name." Refrain goes " The harder I try, the bluer I get. Lord
knows that
I-I-I-I...I can't get over losing you." Please, please, please. This
song is very
special to me. Been wanting to buy it on iTunes, just don't know the
title and
artist. Thanks so much!

Answer
hey tania, the song was performed by a six-member group called Free Movement in 1972 entitled "The Harder I Try (The Bluer I Get)". the groups' sound was R&B and kinda like the 5th Dimension. now that you have the artist and title, you may find a copy sooner from any music sites.

Expertise

The 80s: a decade where the music was grand. i learned a great deal on the wonderworkings of new wave artists; those pop-rock ditties were remarkable, yet the laid-back love songs were always as good as it was then. as regards artists and their songs,i maybe of help though i'm partial to rap, country, and metal. I am also a smooth jazz junkie and may have infos to take you along a splendid music cruise in our time.
