im not so sure if the title of the song is "you're the one i love" sang by a woman. some of the lyrics goes like these
"everynight everyday you're the one i always____

and i keep coming back for more

im sorry, its all i can remember. this is a mellowdramatic song sang by a woman. pls help me out. thanks

YOU'RE THE ONE I LOVE was written by STEVE FERGUSON and it was recorded by a number of artists throughout the years. It was first recorded by JENNIFER WARNES in 1977 for her self-titled album. Singer JANE OLIVOR followed suit in 1979 for her album called STAY THE NIGHT. Country singer JANIE FRICKE also had her own version in 1979 from her album LOVE NOTES. In 1989, THE CARPENTERS' version recorded before KAREN CARPENTER died in 1983 was released through the album LOVELINES. The last two were the most popular versions here in the Philippines. Curiously, the song was titled YOU'RE THE ONE in both the JENNIFER WARNES & CARPENTERS albums. It appeared as YOU'RE THE ONE I LOVE on JANE OLIVOR and JANIE FRICKE's albums. Here's its lyrics:
