Deep Purple had a concert in Manila in the 80's. I think it was at the CCP complex in Roxas Blvd. The front act was by a female singer who covered Help by the Beatles but arranged like Tina Turner's. It's one of the best rendition I've heard since. Can you help identify the singer and if the single is around somewhere ? tia. - Wonton

Sorry but I don't have any records of concerts held here in the Philippines so I can't tell you who the front act was in that DEEP PURPLE concert. Let's hope one of our readers will be able to give us this piece of information.
