Question
heard a song on the radio while driving to work years ago, have often thought of it but never heard it again. I have fruitlessly searched the internet for it. The song is a duet of a little boy asking questions and his father answering him. I believe the song was played on fathers day and for some reason have always thought it to be Bobby Goldsboro (probably wrong).Any info appreciated.Thanks.

Answer
hey steve, i've been browsing around and found this one so i thought i might as well give it a shot. may be the song you had in mind was "Life Itself Will Let You Know", which more sounds like a song by a kid asking questions and a guy in deep voice did spoke some lines. it was done by Anthony Quinn and Charlie sometime in the late 70s in which a choir from St. Paul Cahedral even did some background vocals in it. im not sure though sure though if it's the one...

The 80s: a decade where the music was grand. i learned a great deal on the wonderworkings of new wave artists; those pop-rock ditties were remarkable, yet the laid-back love songs were always as good as it was then. as regards artists and their songs,i maybe of help though i'm partial to rap, country, and metal. I am also a smooth jazz junkie and may have infos to take you along a splendid music cruise in our time.
