I don't know who the artist was.....i heard briefly today and i believe its called rumours. It was a dance, kinda of hip hop song.  lyrics went like: Did you hear the one about Tina, some say she's just a tease, etc, etc....Did you hear the one about Michael, some say he must be gay, etc, etc....

any help would be appreciated

hey michael, the artist who did "Rumors" was a a U.S. group from Berkely, California who called themselves Timex Social Club.
Formed in 1982 by members Gregory Thomas, Marcus Thompson, Kevin Moore, Michael Marshall, Craig Samuel, Darrien Cleage, and Alex Hill specialized in both old school rap and the merger of urban R&B with hip-hop rhythms, which was later known as new jack swing.

Vicious Rumors, their only album released in 1986  had only one major hit on it, "Rumors", which hit #8 on the Billboard Hot 100, August 30, 1986. After five years of being together, the Timex Social Club broke up
