The group is called Black. Their biggest hits were 'Wonderful Life' and 'Sweetest Smile' among others.

His name is Colin Vearncombe and he went by the name Black in the 80's and 90's. His song Wonderful Life was the most popular. He was much more successful in Europe than the US. Google his name and you'll find his website. I bought his music on iTunes. Sure you can find it on Amazon, too.
