Hello po ... as I was trying to search for some songs I came across this website. It's so amazing (and amusing) to know that you are so knowledgeable about the eighties. I've read a bit of your profile and wow na-excite ako. Anyways, on to my questions/enquiries ..

1 - I heard this particular song from Arenarr, When Will You Be Mine. The time na sumikat ito nasa elementary pa lang ako. My ate (RIP) used to have a notebook that she'd write the lyrics of her favorite songs then. Nung nadinig ko ung song I had instantly liked it. I know the chorus goes like "When will be mine, I wanna know I've been waiting a long time". I know mahirap na po sha hanapin ngayon dahil luma na sha, so I am asking you to kindly share/send it to me in case meron kayo nung mp3.

2 - Dahil lahat ng kapatid ko all grew up in the 80's, I was strongly influenced by them. (I even wrote in my friendster account that 80's music is the best for me) even though elementary pa lang ako ng mga time na un. I have loved Menudo since then!!! And I am soo happy na I was able to download (most of) their English songs. Nahihirapan lang po ako sa song na "That Situation". Pinapanood ko pa sa Youtube ung video na un wif Lea Salonga. MEron din po ba kayo nun?

3 - There's this one song that I heard from my previous work in Pinas before, it goes something like  "Is this love, it's got to be love coz I'm feeling in feeling in love,, it's got to be love ..." I fell in love with the song the moment I heard it. Sino po ung artist nun? When I wasked my colleague before di nya nadin matandaan even ung song.

4 - lastly, Meron din po ba kayo ng mp3 ng "Wherever You Are (You Made Me Fall)" ng Acosta-Russell? I tried to search for it online (kahit bilhin ko na ung buong album) kaso puro unsuccesful po ung searches ko.

Dear Rica,

Thanks for your kind words and your unusual way of writing your letter. Not a dull moment. It's like I was just talking with you in person. Anyways, first of all, I"m sorry for your sister. We have the same "hobby" I must say, I also used to compile lyrics of songs when there's no internet yet and believe me, I still have them. Now here are my answers for your questions:

1. WHEN WILL YOU BE MINE - I can share it with you.
2. THAT SITUATION - sorry but I don't have it.
3. This one is called IT'S GOT TO BE LOVE by BUCKS FIZZ - I got that too.
4. I don't have any any ACOSTA-RUSSELL song. I believe they were from the 90's.
