Question
Can you think of the hit song (probably 80's) that had the line "saaaay whaaaat" in it. The line was delivered by a female several times during the song, but I am otherwise blanking on the details. I have been racking my brain trying to come up with the answer. It for sure is not Love Rollercoaster by The Ohio Players from the mid 70's, which also features the line "Say what?" Please let me know if you can come up with anything. Thanks!

It also took me almost a week trying to come up with anything out of your vague clue. I failed to come up with something believable, I'm sorry. This one's a long shot but it's the first thing that came out of my mind when I finished reading your letter. UNDERCOVER ANGEL by ALAN O'DAY. There's a familiar line in the song which went I SAY WHAT!.... but it was blurted out by the artist not by a female. Remember it's a long shot...
