Hi, I recently heard what I thought was artist Kenny Loggins in a duet with a female vocalist singing an 80's era song. I only caught part of the song lyrics and have been unable to figure out the title and singers.  It may not be Kenny Loggins as the male vocalist, but I would be surprised if it wasn't.  The song's chorus has a part, - - - on a Saturday night...  I've heard the song before and hope you can help figure out the artist and song title.  It is not a ballad, more of an uptempo pop tune from the 80s to 70s era.  Thanks for your help!

You are right, it's a KENNY LOGGINS song. The title of that one is WHENEVER I CALL YOU "FRIEND" and he sang it with STEVIE NICKS of the group FLEETWOOD MAC. WHENEVER...is a cut from his 1978 album NIGHTWATCH and it went to No.5 on Billboard Hot 100 Chart on October 28, 1978. Incidentally, it was written by true friends KENNY LOGGINS & singer-songwriter MELISSA MANCHESTER. Here's its lyrics:
