Expert: OneMixDJ - 1/6/2010

Question
While living in Oahu,Hawaii in 1988-89 I heard a song at the club called "Bye Bye" along with the Adams Family Theme Song playing in it. The DJ is the one who told me the name of that song, but did not say who sung it. The DJ was from New York, and he would go there to get his Music and bring back to Hawaii.  I have been searching for that song for many years.  Maybe you can help me.  Thank You

The dance track that comes to mind around that time is "Check This Out" by LA Mix (Les "Mixdoctor" Adams). The Addams Family sample is towards the end of the track.
