However, the song I am looking for is not Rey Valera's Hindi Kita Iiwan. If it would help you to help me, I just heard the song Gintong Araw by Bing Rodrigo.

Upon hearing this, it seems to me that the song I'm looking for is somewhat similar to Gintong Araw. The singer might also be Bing Rodrigo.

Scrolled every pages of my songbook collection from 1980's including songs by BING RODRIGO and found nothing. That song proved to be elusive. Maybe it's from another artist. Will try to look into other source. But for now, I can't give you any answer.
