As for similarly-sounding songs, I can suggest Six Two Eight by Europe, Your Heart Keeps Burning by Blind Date, Around My Dream by Silver Pozzoli among others which came out about the same time as Never Mind. I think any Italo disco song, where these songs are bracketed, can be considered similar with each other.
