Hello, i believe its been asked b4, i want to know what pop black group(band) recorded Natureboy in the 80s. i was too young at the time, but i could remember the video. I think they dressed up like arabian knights, and there was a beautiful horn solo played in the song. Thanks.

NATURE BOY has been recorded a hundred times probably ever since it was first recorded by NAT KING COLE in 1948. In 1983, R&B group CENTRAL LINE recorded their own version from their album CHOICE. CENTRAL LINE was composed of LINTON BECKLES, CAMELLE HINDS, LIPSON FRANCIS and HENRY DEFOE. A former member was ERROL KENNEDY who went on to form the R&B band IMAGINATION, know for the hit JUST AN ILLUSION. Their version of NATURE BOY peaked at No. 21 on the UK singles chart.
