hello! just want to ask if you have any news about an 80's band named "movieland"? i have a record of them but can't seem to find any cd nor download mp3 on limewire, coz all i get was no results. one of their song was "lament".

MOVIELAND was an obscure 1980's band formed in 1984 in NEW YORK. The members consisted of DAVIA SACKS (female lead vocals and keyboardist) who is married to jazz musician PHIL MARKOWITZ, LOTHAR SEGELER (musician and engineer) and founder RICHARD LEWIS (male lead vocalist, keyboardist and chief songwriter). They released their only album also called MOVIELAND and released singles like LAMENT and the maxi-single POSTCARDS TO NEW YORK. Not much is known about the group or what has happened to its members except LEWIS who's now a member of a group called MACHINE 475.
