I know not too many French upbeat songs that were hits here in the past. Add to that, the clue is a bit vague so I can't help you big. I can name a few songs but I'm afraid we will not be able to ID it. To start of, LANCA PERFUME is a Portuguese song. Other examples of French upbeat songs are LIBERTE by GILBERT MONTAGNE, LA VIE EN ROSE and sevewral songs by LARUSSO.
