Could you be looking for the song AUTOMATIC by THE POINTER SISTERS? If you are, then you can find it from their 1983 landmark album BREAK OUT. This album also spawned the hits NEUTRON DANCE, JUMP (FOR MY LOVE) and the re-released I'M SO EXCITED (which was actually from their previous album SO EXCITED! but was re-included in later pressings). To check, I'm including the lyrics for AUTOMATIC. Incidentally, THE POINTERS took it No.5 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart on April 14, 1984.
