Question
Hi Mirrorman,

Just like yourself I'm a big fan of 80's music. I have several questions about songs I haven't heard for a long time and having a hard time looking for mp3 copies of:
1. There is a version of EVERYDAY PEOPLE by a female artist which was released around 1989 or 1990-ish which is not Aretha Franklin's version. I keep on looking for this cover but all I get from searches is that version of Aretha. Kindly research for me about this artist.
2. I used to like a song with the title LOUIE LOUIE LOUIE. If I can recall it right, it was released around 1988-ish. And if it helps, I think the group's name has the word ROCKERS on it. Please help me find this song.
3. There is a song by Karla Bonoff with the word 'WORLD' on it. I think it is New World or Real World or something close to it. Is there anywhere I can download an mp3 copy of this song?
4. Finally, there is this cassette tape I used to listen to as a kid. It is a Gospel album entitled I LOVE YOU LORD which featured Ray-An Fuentes, Jeanne Young, Nonoy Zuniga, etc. I keep on looking for a CD copy of this album but to no avail. Kindly help me where I can buy a copy of this album online.

Thank you very much.

Answer
Hi Jimboy,

I will try hopefully answer your questions correctly, or offer some alternatives :)

1. Two recording artists i can provide you for the song "Everyday People" who released it around 1989-1990ish are: the duo Ta Mara and Seen; and Nicole C. Mullen.
2. The only band i can think of who sang that song based on your description is Brand New Rockers.
3. The title of Karla Bonoff's song is "New World". This is included in the 1988 album with the same title. There are sites where you can play or download this song such as mp3rocket and other similar sites.
4. That album was released by Rejoice Records. Buying an album would prove to be difficult as i think it's already way out of production unless you can find vinyl copies sold at amazon or ebay.. I hope you will be able listen to that gospel song at this link: http://wn.com/s1ramsana.
