ANSWER: Dear Dr. Joel,

FALLIN' was originally written by MARVIN HAMLISCH and CAROLE BAYER SAGER for the musical and book by NEIL SIMON, THEY'RE PLAYING OUR SONG in 1979. Based on the real life relationship (as sweethearts) of HAMLISCH and SAGER, THEY'RE PLAYING OUR SONG debuted on Broadway in 1979 with ROBERT KLEIN & LUCIE ARNAZ in the roles of VERNON and SONIA. In the play and in the original cast recording, KLEIN performed FALLIN'. TERI DeSARIO's version also recorded in 1979 for her album MOONLIGHT MADNESS was not in any way connected with the musical although both were released by Casablanca Records.

ive been looking for this song... part of the intro lrics goes "i never thought i'd see you again, i thought you took (unsure if it's 'took') me as a friend...Chorus-and now i'm falling for you.."  i remember it's an all-girl (unsure) band... title is "falling" or "falling for you"... can you help? need the correct song title and artists...
