hi there

for years and years i have tried to find the answer to this puzzling question without much luck there is a SONG called GET IT ON BY LISA SCOTT LEE featuring incognito -  ANYWAY the background music to this song is take straight from and 70s 80s pop music tune - where the guy is wearing some kind of a head band and walking down the stairs with disco lights everywhere and dancers - i remember the ORIGINAL song when watching tv as a kid - it would be seriously impressive to find out who the artist was - any help would be most welcome

The song you're looking for is "You Can't Hide (Your Love From Me)" by David Joseph, released in 1983 on Island Records.  Here is a link to a video on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mi49eeCwnVQ  There's no head band or stairs, but definitely disco lights and dancers. By the way, "Get It On" was by The Intenso Project featuring Lisa Scott-Lee - not Incognito.
