Hi there Bong, you seem more knowledgeable than the other experts on this board wen it comes to 80's music, esp there in the Philippines. I happened to lived there fm 83 to 87 the gud yrs you cud say. I used to watch the dance contests on TV on Eat Bulaga and watnot and remember the dance groups like Vicor Dancers, Beat Culture etc etc. I want to ask you if you know a song, not sure if it was done by a local artist there. It was patterned after Michael Jackson's Billy Jean and was titled Superstar. Hope you can answer this as I have seen u answer most of people's questions on here. What is the name of this song with Superstar in the title? Salamat po. :D

I don't really remember any song then titled SUPERSTAR. I could be wrong but you could be looking for SLINGSHOT's 1983 DO IT AGAIN/BILLIE JEAN MEDLEY, a combination of STEELY DAN's 1972 hit DO IT AGAIN and MICHAEL JACKSON's 1983 smash hit. I'll try to check on it, though.
