Looking for artist and song from MTV's heyday...the 80's.

I think the song was called "under the clock" but I am not sure....the band was fronted with a girl who reminded me a lot of Katrina L. from katrina and the waves.

Hmmm, think I know your song. But it's not actually a band. But the artist uses lots of musicians for her MTV and her recordings. Her name JANEY STREET. The song: UNDER THE CLOCK. It is included on her album from 1984, HEROES, ANGELS & FRIENDS. It peaked at #145 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart on November 24, 1984. The song UNDER THE CLOCK peaked at #18 on the Adult Contemporary Chart on March 30, 1985. Another minor hit from the album, SAY HELLO TO RONNIE peaked at #68 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart on October 20, 1984, her lone Hot 100 hit. Her latest album is called STREET LESS TRAVELED released in 2003.
