80s Music/80's rock group

Question
can't find any info on early 80's small rock group
called the Rings.  they had two albums or so maybe as early as 1979.  "did you know opposites attract" was one of their big hits.

THE RINGS...yup, a band that's destined to become great but somehow never got going. They released their first album also called THE RINGS in 1980 under MCA RECORDS. That album included OPPOSITES ATTRACT and LET ME GO. They had another album RHYTHM METHOD (1981) before calling it quits. The classic line-up consists of BOB GIFFORD (bass), MARK SUTTON (guitar), MICHAEL BAKER (vocals) & BOB WOODBURY (drums).
