There was a song in the 80's which reached the charts, pretty high I think (germany or uk), which had a music familiar to Indian music and part of the lyrics went like this: Heya heya my soul eclipsed tonight... or something like this. Can you help me?

Checking my memory bank of song lyrics, I can't seem to find that song. Probably, it's not the right lyrics and it's too short for me to recognize it. It's possible, too, that being a hit in Europe (German or British), I do not know the song since I grew up tracking songs through Billboard which houses the US Charts and it's like the Bible of pop music, a hit there is a worldwide hit.
If you have a little bit more info about it (e.g., is it fast or slow, male or female singer), don't hesitate to mail me again.

Dear Santos, the song was rather slowish and  electric sond. Also I forgot to mention that the year of release was between 1981 and 1984. Thank you for your effort! Oh, I forgot, it was a female singer!

I am not really sure if I got it right. But the closest I could think of is ISLAND OF LOST SOULS by BLONDIE. BLONDIE is a band that was active from 1974 to 1982 and then again from 1999 to the present. Its regular members are DEBORAH HARRY, CHRIS STEIN, CLEM BURKE & JIMMY DESTRI. Also included  as members of the classic line-up that was inducted to the Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame in March, 2006 were FRANK INFANTE & NIGEL HARRISON. ISLAND OF LOST SOULS came from BLONDIE's 1982 album THE HUNTER. It went to #37 on July 23, 1982 on the US Hot 100 Chart. Here's how it goes:
