Question
who is the artist and exact name of this song if incorrect
         thanks Anna B.

Answer
Dear Anna,

There were four 80's songs I know titled THUNDER AND LIGHTNING and one from the 70's. CHI COLTRANE kicked off in 1972 then CHICAGO (1980), PHIL COLLINS (1981), THIN LIZZY (1983) & MISS THANG (1986). All were different from each other. From among these 5 THUNDER AND LIGHTNING songs, CHI's, CHICAGO's and MISS THANG's were the most successful hitting different Billboard charts from 1972 to 86. CHI COLTRANE's song was a No. 17 hit on Billboard Hot 100 Chart on November 18, 1972. It was from her self-titled debut album from 1972. CHICAGO's was from their 1980 album CHICAGO XIV. It went to No. 56 on the Hot 100 Chart on September 20, 1980. MISS THANG's ditty was the latest and probably the one you are looking for. It came out in 1986 as a one-record novelty song as an answer to ORAN "JUICE" JONES' THE RAIN. MISS THANG's real name was as mysterious as she is now. Some say it was CANDI SHANNON. Whatever her real name was, she was a DJ for WKYS in Washington, D.C. The song was a minor hit in the US Hot R&B Chart and Hot Dance Music / Maxi Singles Sales Chart back in October, 1986. It was released only on 12" maxi vinyl singles with THE QUIET STORM as its B-side.

Maraming salamat po!!

Expertise

I can answer just about everything from the 80`s, rock, pop, trivias, artist infos, Billboard chart positions, albums, etc. But songs that became hit in the Philippines and OPM songs are my expertise. I grew on 80`s music and still listening to 80`s music as it is the best era in music history for me. My friends call me the walking encyclopedia of 80`s music. I got books & collections of CDs, all from the 80`s.

Experience

Let's just say music is my life and my source is a lifetime of knowledge about 80's music and then some.
