hi bong,

im wondering if you know some of the songs used in one of Grechen Barretos movies in the 80's around (83-87) she was in this teen movie. i just want to know the title of the songs they used. there's this particular song "tonight...in time..another star is born...its like..i cant remember the exact lyrics but it was used in one of her movies...kinda new wave. pls help me

ps. can you mention also some of the songs that was used in philippine movies in the 80's (teen movies) aside from Bagets

That would be difficult as most Regal movies then did not have a soundtrack album and I would have to watch it again in order to know the answer. But I guess you must be talking about this 2 teen movies that starred Gretchen Barretto: TENDER AGE & 14 GOING STEADY. But I remember she sang an original song in one of these movies, I just don't know which one.

As for songs that was used in RP teen movies in the 80's, I remember REACHING OUT by GARY VALENCIANO from HOTSHOTS, SO IT'S YOU by RAYMOND LAUCHENGCO from HOTSHOTS, CAMPUS BEAT by AGA MUHLACH from CAMPUS BEAT, YOU'VE GOT THE POWER by JUAN MIGUEL SALVADOR, RANDY SANTIAGO and GINO PADILLA from NINJA KIDS.
