Hello Bong,
This seems to be a tough question. You are my 3rd expert. I can understand why its tough though. You won't have much to work with. Hope you are up for it. I have this song going through my head that has the first 2 lines of the chorus that start with: "Wouldn't it be nice if... (not sure what the words are here but its 4 syllables long).............. Wouldn't it be nice if ...(not sure what the words are here but its 3 syllables long)" It has a male lead vocal, voice not too high, not too low, synth sound and reminds me a little of Mike and The Mechanics or Strange Advance. Every time I try a search with "Wouldn't it be nice if..." I get tons of Beach Boys (no surprise). I know I am not giving you much to go on but I hope it is enough. Thanks for your help!

There's really not much to work with. Really. This is a long shot. But could you be looking for NIK KERSHAW's WOULDN'T IT BE GOOD. It's from his 1984 debut album HUMAN RACING. It went to as high as No. 46 on Bilboard Hot 100 Chart on May 26, 1984. Here's how it goes:
