Questionthere was a duo in the late 80's called the waterfront, they sang "the nature of love", around the same time there was another song "broken arrow" or "breathe" i wanted to know did "waterfront" sing all these songs and where can i get a copy of the video of "the nature of love"
AnswerDear Shameer,
WATERFRONT did sang NATURE OF LOVE as well as BROKEN ARROW. It all came from their self-titled debut album released in 1989. WATERFRONT came about when a number of sharply dressed and handsome British bands such as JOHNNY HATES JAZZ, CURIOSITY KILLED THE CAT and BREATHE started appearing on MTV. Signed to Polydor, WATERFRONT, consisting of CHRIS DUFFY (vocals), PHIL CILIA (guitar), CHRIS CHILDS (bass) and GREG HAVER (drums), released their debut single CRY, a song about falling in love with a minor, and peaked at #10 on the Hot 100 Chart on June 17, 1989. It was their biggest hit. Their only other hit was NATURE OF LOVE which peaked at #70 on August 19, 1989. As their lightweight, R&B influenced pop was too blatantly derivative for them to sustain a carrer, the group disbanded only to resurrect in 2000 as a duo made up of CILIA & DUFFY.
As for the other song called BREATHE, I don't they did that song as I can't find it on the track listing. I'm sorry I don't have any information where to get their video for NATURE OF LOVE if there is one.
Maraming salamat po!
