Hi Bong...I have a bunch of inquiry about some duets from the 80s...
1. Do you know the individual names of the artists behind the song MOMENTS OF LOVE by AFTER ALL?
2. Do you know the individual names of the vocalists of ATLANTIC STARR who sang ALWAYS and SECRET LOVERS?
3. Do you know the individual names of the artists behind the duet FOR JUST A MOMENT from the St. Elmo's Fire soundtrack?
4. Who sang with GLENN MEDEIROS behind the song LOVE ALWAYS FINDS A REASON?
5. Who sang with JEFFREY OSBORNE behind the song THE GREATEST LOVE AFFAIR?

Here are your duet answers:

1. MOMENTS OF LOVE by AFTER ALL. No exact info about the singers, nor an album that I know. I guess this was their only hit. I have a feeling also that the songwriters, ISELA CRUZ & MICHAEL CRUZ were the ones behind AFTER ALL, I'm not sure though.

2. SECRET LOVERS is from 1985's AS THE BAND TURNS, their first album without original singer SHARON BRYANT who left for a solo career in 1984. SHARON BRYANT had several R&B hits in 1989-90 among them a remake of STEVE PERRY's FOOLISH HEART. BRYANT was replaced by BARBRA WEATHERS who took female lead vocals from 1985 to 1990 and sung on their two big hits SECRET LOVERS and 1987's ALWAYS from the album ALL IN THE NAME OF LOVE. Male lead vocals was provided by mainstay guitarist DAVID LEWIS.

3. LOVE THEME FROM ST. ELMO'S FIRE (For Just A Moment) was billed as performed by DAVID FOSTER featuring Donny Gerrard & Amy Holland. DONNY GERRARD who provided male lead vocals used to be the lead vocalist for the group SKYLARK who had a Top 10 hit back in 1973 with WILDFLOWER. DAVID FOSTER was a member of that band. AMY HOLLAND is the wife of singer/songwriter MICHAEL McDONALD.

4. LOVE ALWAYS FINDS A REASON from GLENN MEDEIROS' 1989 album NOT ME was a duet with French singer and actress ELSA LUNGHINI. First recorded in French as UN ROMAN D'AMITIE or FRIEND YOU GIVE ME A REASON.

5. GREATEST LOVE AFFAIR from JEFFREY OSBORNE's STAY WITH ME TONIGHT album is officially a solo work by JEFFREY. Background vocals were provided by MARCY LEVY, LYNN DAVIS, PORTIA GRIFFIN and JOSIE JAMES.
