Question
I have been chasing a CD of a mid-late 80's australian band by the name of Bang The Drum...and I think the album is self titled.....I think? Can you help me in trying to find a copy...is this the right name?
Dear Cols,
You must be talking about the Australian (Tasmania) band BANG THE DRUM consisting of singer STEVE DRIVER (of the band DRIVER) and guitarist JIM REECE. I'm not really familiar with their works except the one they contributed for the soundtrack of the Aussie movie THE BIG STEAL back in 1990 called STAY FOREVER.
Incidentally, another Australian band, INXS had an EP released in 2004 titled BANG THE DRUM.

I got books & collections of CDs, all from the 80`s.
