The lyrics are rather short but I believe I know the BOOK OF LOVE you have in mind even if there are several BOOK OF LOVE songs. It could be BOOK OF LOVE by the group BOOK OF LOVE. BOOK OF LOVE is composed of vocalist SUSAN OTTAVIANO, TED OTTAVIANO (not releated to Susan), LAUREN ROSELLI and JADE LEE. From the 1986 album BOOK OF LOVE, it was a big dance hit in the US.
