Hi Bong! How are you doing? Just wanted to find out if you remember the main feature songs used for: Intro Disco Dance Contest (1981), and Freaky Dance Contest (1982). Intro Disco is sort of a medley, whereas with Freaky, the song goes something like "you show me yours, I'll show you mine baby...you can bet your last money, honey...", and I believe it was danced by the WEA Dancers. Regarding the INTRO DISCO DANCE CONTEST, I'm not familiar with the contest but since you mentioned 1981 as the year it was popular, that was the year medleys were a hot commodity. I'm just not sure which of the songs were featured. It could be the STARS ON 45 series. I'm not sure.

With FREAKY DANCE CONTEST, the featured song of course was YOU SHOW ME YOURS, I'LL SHOW YOU MINE by JEAN KNIGHT & PREMIUM from her 1982 album KEEP IT COMIN'. JEAN KNIGHT is JEAN CALISTE in real life, an African-American R&B & funk artist known for her 1971 hit MR. BIG STUFF.
