My cousins and I have been trying to figure out an 80's disco song with a line that goes "...skip to my love my darling..."  Hope you can help us as we are losing sleep over this!

Sorry for the late reply.

I'm trying to figure out your song but initially I can't so I asked my friend, Vincent, for some help. He's a disco expert, mostly Italo ones. When he told me his answer, it was a surprise because I'm familiar with it but somehow wasn't able to sort it out. We're not sure but it could be SKIP TO MY LOU by former Motown recording artist FINIS HENDERSON. FINIS recorded a self-titled album back in 1983 but sadly went nowhere. It's a pity as musicians who performed there were a virtual who's who: TOTO's STEVE LUKATHER and the late JEFF PORCARO and former EARTH, WIND & FIRE guitarist AL McKAY among others.

I'm pretty sure though that that was your answer.
