Question
I heard a song that had a real disco-style/dance/drum type ending to it and I thought it was awesome. The rock radio station said it was J GEILS BAND but I lost the paper that I wrote the title to. I can't remember much about the song except that I can't find it and I MUST! Thank you for any help....

If you're sure that the J. GEILS BAND did that song, well it's probably from that 1981 album FREEZE FRAME when the band changed their sound to a bit glossier one. They said it was kinda pop what with songs hardly driven by synthesizers. So it's a toss up between FREEZE FRAME or CENTERFOLD, both from that album. CENTERFOLD went to No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart on February 6, 1982 while FREEZE-FRAME peaked at No. 4 on April 10, 1982.
