Question
I am getting married in May and I heard an orchestra style of Journey's song "Don't Stop Believing" and absolutely must have that song played at my wedding. I can not locate the orchestra version at all. I have searched everywhere, including the soundtrack to the movie that I heard it on. It is not there. If you can advise me any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks.

Answer
Dear Rochelle,

I think you are talking about the DON'T STOP BELIEVING string version that was played on the 1998 movie THE WEDDING SINGER. It was played during ROBBIE HART's (ADAM SANDLER's character) aborted wedding to LINDA (ANGELA FEATHERSTONE). But sad to say, it wasn't featured in any of the two volumes of its original soundtrack. Nor did the movie has its own original score album. The performer of the string version wasn't even credited. Although JOURNEY's version did get credits, it wasn't included in any of the two soundtracks, either. Hopefully, I will be able to find an alternate version so I can re-post it in time for your May wedding.

Maraming salamat po!

Expertise

I can answer just about everything from the 80`s, rock, pop, trivias, artist infos, Billboard chart positions, albums, etc. But songs that became hit in the Philippines and OPM songs are my expertise. I grew on 80`s music and still listening to 80`s music as it is the best era in music history for me. My friends call me the walking encyclopedia of 80`s music. I got books & collections of CDs, all from the 80`s.

Experience

Let's just say music is my life and my source is a lifetime of knowledge about 80's music and then some.
