Hello Bong,

Hopefuly you can save me from breaking my head after all these years. When I was a kid somebody game an album with a song that I loved and even though at that time I spoke no English I remembered what it said more less, then years later I heard it again and a couple of months ago I heard it very briefly in the radio.
It goes something like this: We spent the night together until the morning light, baby do you remember the music in our eyes.......
and the cover of the album had the picture of a big lime.
I can't remember the rest please help me.

Dear Elizabeth,

No problem, I remember very well the song. It is UNEXPECTED LOVERS by the husband-wife duo of LIME. LIME consists of DENIS & DENYSE LePAGE, who also wrote the song. When the duo became popular and needed to tour, they recruited CHRIS MARSH & JOY DORRIS to do the task. CHRIS & JOY (their vocal range is somewhat similar to Denis & Denyse) would sing songs from LIME using their original voices accompanied by pre-recorded tracks (very much different from what MILLI VANILLI were doing). UNEXPECTED LOVERS is from their 1985 album UNEXPECTED LOVERS. It hit #6 on Billboard's Hot Dance Music / Club Play Chart back in August 17, 1985.
In 1998, another dance music duo, LA BOUCHE (rapper Lane McCray and the late vocalist Melanie Thornton who was killed in a plane crash in Switzerland on November 24, 2001), covered UNEXPECTED LOVERS and included it in their 1998 album S.O.S.
