QuestionSir Bong,
How are you? now i remember of who performed this favorite '80s song which i asked from you before which i thought was a Paul Bradley single, it just happened when i tried to look for a country love songs album when i suddenly bumped into it and found the right detail. Are you familiar with the song and the artist sir? as far as my memory can recall, the lyrics goes like this " Let Me Love You...like my dreams last night...
Thanks again
jojo
AnswerDear Jojo,
Yes, I am familiar with JOHN SCHNEIDER. I have heard of LET ME LOVE YOU but I'm more familiar with his other hit songs from that album NOW OR NEVER released 1981 under Scotti Brothers Records. The biggest hit from that release was a remake of an old ELVIS PRESLEY hit, the title track IT'S NOW OR NEVER which hit #14 on the Hot 100 chart in 1981. Another single released was STILL (not the COMMODORES hit) which peaked at #81. But here in Manila, his single STAY also from that album was his biggest hit. I bet you knew this one...its chorus goes:
STAY AND WE'LL EXPLORE EACH OTHER
STAY AND SEE WHAT WE DISCOVER
STAY, THERE'S SO MUCH OF YOU THAT I DON'T KNOW
AND THOUGH WE MAY NOT LAST FOREVER
OH, IT FEELS SO RIGHT TOGETHER
NO, WE JUST CAN'T LET IT GO.
Of course, JOHN SCHNEIDER was a television star first before he became a country singer, playing the role of BO DUKE in the original TV series THE DUKES OF HAZZARD (BO DUKE was played by SEANN WILLIAM SCOTT in the movie version). JOHN was last seen in the popular series SMALLVILLE playing Superboy's father.
Maraming salamat po!
