hello!

i'm trying to track down this song i heard in a supermarket a long time ago.
i dont know much about it, but i can tell you it was sung by a female singer, had a very solid beat, and i'm positive it was from the mid-to-late 80's by the sound of it..

the only line i could pick up goes "everywhere i go, everywhere i go, you're there..." and i am assuming thats the chorus, as it is THE hook of the song.
the melody ascends during these words and the word "there" is held longer than the other notes

there is guitars and thick bass and i'm pretty sure there was (naturally its the 80s..) a SYNTH in there too!

my dad suggested fleetwood mac, or one of the girls from the band, but i couldn't find it in any of their work that we had in the house, so i'm hoping you guys can help.

I don't think FLEETWOOD MAC or STEVIE NICKS or CHRISTIE McVIE did that. FLEETWOOD MAC has a song called EVERYWHERE but it doesn't look like that.
But it sounds like EVERYWHERE I GO by THE MUFFS. The problem is the song was from 1993 but somehow sounds like an 80's song as THE MUFFS play like THE RAMONES. They also has a female vocalist in KIM SHATTUCK. EVERYWHERE I GO is from their 1993 self-titled album.
