Dear Dennis,

You are referring to the song DON'T LOOK ANY FURTHER. It was originally recorded by former on and off TEMPTATIONS lead vocalist DENNIS EDWARDS for his solo 1984 Motown release DON'T LOOK ANY FURTHER. This duet with SIEDAH GARRETT went to No. 72 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart on May 19, 1984. Three years later, THE KANE GANG did a cover version for their 1987 album MIRACLE. Theirs did a little better than the original eventually peaking at No. 64 on the same chart on March 5, 1988. Here's the lyrics of the two versions:
