Question
Song is a club mix style (approx mid 1980's - maybe earlier I am getting so old) with a man's voice and various synthesizer noises. It is in the artistic style category with Yom Hammer, Hardcastle and Herbie Hancock. The lyrics and chorus/refrain spelled out the word "p-e-a-n-u-t" or "p-e-a-n-u-t-s".

Answer
Dear David,

I'm not really familiar with club mix style songs unless they became a big, big hit in the line of MIAMI VICE THEME by JAN HAMMER, 19 by PAUL HARDCASTLE or ROCKIT by HERBIE HANCOCOK. Man, I could be wrong but maybe you are talking about PEANUTS by the trio of Marc Moulin, Dan Lacksman and Michel Moers, collectively known as TELEX. PEANUTS is a HOT DANCE MUSIC / CLUB PLAY hit back in May 28, 1988 when it peaked at #45. It is from their 1988 album LOONEY TUNES. They have a new album released just this March called HOW DO U DANCE.

Expertise

I can answer just about everything from the 80`s, rock, pop, trivias, artist infos, Billboard chart positions, albums, etc. But songs that became hit in the Philippines and OPM songs are my expertise. I grew on 80`s music and still listening to 80`s music as it is the best era in music history for me. My friends call me the walking encyclopedia of 80`s music. I got books & collections of CDs, all from the 80`s.

Experience

Let's just say music is my life and my source is a lifetime of knowledge about 80's music and then some.
