80s Music/An Obviously Rarely Heard Song

Question
Hello Bong,
My question is a little difficult. I only have a few questionable lyrics to a song and a POSSIBLE title. Can you help me? It's been stuck in my head for about 20 years now, and I REALLY want to know the name of this song, and who made it. Here are the lyrics that I think I know:
"I'm not superstitious, and I don't believe...astrologically is it my number todaaaay, yeah" As for the title or perhaps just part of the chorus, it went: "Four, five, four" or "fo, fi, fo." Yes, like Moses Malone's claim of sweeping the playoffs back in the early '80s. I Googled the heck out of that, and still coming up blank. It was R&B. I hope your expertise extends over to that side of the music genre.

Answer
Dear Bryant,

Not only is it a little difficult, it is difficult. I'm not really into non-contemporary R&B.
Anyway, this requires a lot of time. I'll do more research and try to figure out your song. Will re-post an answer if I find it.

Maraming salamat po!!

Hi Bryant,

Let's give "bigdude" special mention for providing us some help. He posted that the song is FO FI FO by PIECES OF A DREAM.

PIECES OF A DREAM is a jazz-oriented R&B group formed in 1975 in PHiladelphia by CEDRIC NAPOLEON (bass), CURTIS HARMON (drums) and JAMES LLOYD (keyboards). FO FI FO is from their 1983 album IMAGINE THIS.

Expertise

I can answer just about everything from the 80`s, rock, pop, trivias, artist infos, Billboard chart positions, albums, etc. But songs that became hit in the Philippines and OPM songs are my expertise. I grew on 80`s music and still listening to 80`s music as it is the best era in music history for me. My friends call me the walking encyclopedia of 80`s music. I got books & collections of CDs, all from the 80`s.

Experience

Let's just say music is my life and my source is a lifetime of knowledge about 80's music and then some.
