80s Music/A Rare One
Expert: Bong Santos - 12/12/2007
QuestionDear Bong,
I haven't received a reply from you since I asked you if you have the song Pickin' Up The Pieces Again by Open Skyz. Anyways, I already have that song. What favor I'm asking you now is another rare one. Maybe you have it. It's a song (also from the 90's) called TO THE SUN by KID SAFARI. It was started to be aired here in the Philippines I think during the mid 90's. I heard it on RX 93.1. This time it goes like: "If you want, you can try it, you can do it a-ha". The chorus goes something like this: "To the sun, that's all we gotta do, to the sun.." During it's airtime (the time it was actively played), SAIGON KICK's I LOVE YOU was also active on radio station's playlist. I don't know if Kid Safari was a band or a solo performer, what I have in mind back then is that I love the song. Anyways, I would appreciate it so much if you could give me an mp3 of that song. Here's again my ad: jon_wave_80@yahoo.com. Thanks.
AnswerDear Jon,
Sorry that I was not able to answer your past question. That was probably the time my account was temporarily removed from the site because I wasn't able to reply to some of your questions. When that happened, all the questions would be deleted as well.
As for your question this time, I honestly do not know KID SAFARI. Since you said it was around the time of SAIGON KICK, that would be around 1992-93. I do not have that much files from the 90's unless I really like a song like OPEN SKYZ's. I'll try to ask some of my sources if they can spare me a copy of KID SAFARI's song.
Maraming salamat po!!
