Question
What is the name of the song that was sampled in the current hit "Fergilicious"?

Answer
Dear Drillmaster,

Sorry for the late reply.

FERGALICIOUS is the second single from FERGIE's solo album THE DUCHESS. The song is primarily inspired by J.J FAD's SUPERSONIC, which peaked at #30 on the Hot 100 on June 18, 1988. SUPERSONIC's songwriters are rightfully credited in the song namely J.J. FAD members DANIA MARIA BIRKS (BABY D), JUANA MICHELLE BURNS (M.C. JB), former members JUANITA LEE and FATIMA SHAHEED (they left before SUPERSONIC was released) and even producer KIM NAZEL (THE ARABIAN PRINCE). But it also incorporates elements from SALT-N-PEPA's PUSH IT, KRAFTWERK's IT'S MORE FUN TO COMPUTE and AFRO-RICAN's GIVE IT ALL YOU GOT.

Maraming salamat po!

Expertise

I can answer just about everything from the 80`s, rock, pop, trivias, artist infos, Billboard chart positions, albums, etc. But songs that became hit in the Philippines and OPM songs are my expertise. I grew on 80`s music and still listening to 80`s music as it is the best era in music history for me. My friends call me the walking encyclopedia of 80`s music. I got books & collections of CDs, all from the 80`s.

Experience

Let's just say music is my life and my source is a lifetime of knowledge about 80's music and then some.
