Question
Hi Bong,
I have been looking for a Saxophone Solo (pretty sure its a Alto Saxophone solo) that is played in the end credits of the Simpsons, the episode is in season 1 episode 6 and is called "Moaning Lisa". And it has Bleeding Gums Murphy playing over the spring field bridge at night. If you could tell me the name/title of the song and who the artist or saxophonist is it would be awsome! And if you would have a MP3 format of this song would you be able to send it to me or give me a link where I could download this song? Thanks Heaps,

Siu Yuat

Answer
Dear Siu,

Honestly, I did not found any end credits for that sax solo BLEEDING GUMS MURPHY played in the end. Neither do I remember how it sounds. But I remember BLEEDING GUMS sang MOANIN' LISA BLUES at THE JAZZ HOLE. In the story, MOANIN' LISA BLUES was written by LISA. A version sung by LISA can be found on the 1990 album THE SIMPSONS SING THE BLUES. It could be the sax solo BLEEDING GUMS played in the end.

Maraming salamat po!!

Expertise

I can answer just about everything from the 80`s, rock, pop, trivias, artist infos, Billboard chart positions, albums, etc. But songs that became hit in the Philippines and OPM songs are my expertise. I grew on 80`s music and still listening to 80`s music as it is the best era in music history for me. My friends call me the walking encyclopedia of 80`s music. I got books & collections of CDs, all from the 80`s.

Experience

Let's just say music is my life and my source is a lifetime of knowledge about 80's music and then some.
