Hi,
this question is about Sophie B hawkins, In her song "As I lay me down" Do you know what the Backround singers are chanting? for the life of me I cant make it out.

Dear Jan,

That's a 12 year old mystery not even SOPHIE B. HAWKINS' official website bothered to clarify. But most websites state that it's nothing but a chant that goes OOH LA KA KOH. It doesn't mean anything but I'm pretty sure it's the closest than some suggests like...HOLD MY TACO.

For the record, AS I LAY ME DOWN was from SOPHIE B. HAWKINS' 1994 album WHALER. It went to #6 on the Hot 100 Chart on October 28, 1995.
