Question
I am getting married in May and I heard an orchestra style of Journey's song "Don't Stop Believing" and absolutely must have that song played at my wedding. I can not locate the orchestra version at all. I have searched everywhere, including the soundtrack to the movie that I heard it on. It is not there. If you can advise me any help would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks.
Answer
Dear Rochelle,
I think you are talking about the DON'T STOP BELIEVING string version that was played on the 1998 movie THE WEDDING SINGER. It was played during ROBBIE HART's (ADAM SANDLER's character) aborted wedding to LINDA (ANGELA FEATHERSTONE). But sad to say, it wasn't featured in any of the two volumes of its original soundtrack. Nor did the movie has its own original score album. The performer of the string version wasn't even credited. Although JOURNEY's version did get credits, it wasn't included in any of the two soundtracks, either. Hopefully, I will be able to find an alternate version so I can re-post it in time for your May wedding.
AnswerDear Brian,
Sorry, but I'm not able to locate a copy of the song. As I said, the movie doesn't have an original score album and the recording probably do not exist in any record formats except in the movie.
Maraming salamat po!!

Hi Brian,
Check out the additional info our viewers posted. They said it is avaialble at i-Tunes. Just type the keyword LOW STRUNG. They said it's a different band from the one who performed it in the movie but sounds almost the same.
