Expert: Bong Santos - 5/12/2006

I have been trying to find the original songs that these three midi files are based on. The first song sounds like some 80's electronic pop/techno that i can't quite put my finger on, and the other two sound a little like movie themes to me, but I can't really place them either! I hope you can help! Here are the links:

Dear Nick,

I left your question unanswered for the weekend unlike the two questions I received together with your mail. I spent the 2 days listening and figuring what original song they were lifted from but I unfortunately I can't figure it out. It seems they were originally done except that the beats were somewhat similar to some songs we know. The reason why a number of songs run through my mind while figuring it out. Listening to it repeatedly makes one believe that the melody were so simple they were just being repeated and enhanced by beats.
Anyway, you are free to write the other experts. They may have a different answer.
