i've read your reply regarding the artist of body language. however, when i downloaded an mp3 of the dooleys' body language, the version is different from what i've heard. this recording came from an old tape but no artist written on it. you can browse/listen it here: http://tobbyzag.multiply.com/music/item/870 i'm now confused, whose version now is the original? thanks in advance.

I'm certain that version is by THE DOOLEYS. What I cannot confirm is if there's another version of BODY LANGUAGE which proliferated here or if there's a newer version, the reason you thought it was different from the original. It was also my first time I heard the song again after a decade or so and I have to play the song a couple more times to be sure. To set the record straight, THE DOOLEYS did the original version as one of its composers, BEN FINDON (MICHAEL MYERS and ROBERT PUZEY were the other two) was the one who wrote their first single HANDS ACROSS THE SEA and the one who signed them to GTO RECORDS, for where they recorded BODY LANGUAGE. One more thing, BODY LANGUAGE won second prize during the 1980 Tokyo Music Festival.
