Question
Sir Bong,

Hello! I'm a fan of jazz and mellow music and I would like to know the name of the tune that they used as background theme for Eat Bulaga's Little Miss Philippines. It has a classical guitar plucking main tune with a flute/picollo playing in the background. And thank you for answering my first query.

Erwin

Answer
Dear Erwin,

I vaguely remember the melody but I cannot exactly tell what the title was. I believe it's a toss up between EARL KLUGH, TADAO HAYASHI or SADAO WATANABE. I will repost when I got the answer. Let's hope also some readers may know the answer.

Maraming salamat po!!

Hi Erwin,

A reader, Myu Seek, noted that the music you are looking for is called A LULLABYE FOR LITTLE ALPHONSE by jazz percussionist ALPHONSE MOUZON. It's a cut from his 1981 album MORNING SUN.

Best Regards,

Bong

Expertise

I can answer just about everything from the 80`s, rock, pop, trivias, artist infos, Billboard chart positions, albums, etc. But songs that became hit in the Philippines and OPM songs are my expertise. I grew on 80`s music and still listening to 80`s music as it is the best era in music history for me. My friends call me the walking encyclopedia of 80`s music. I got books & collections of CDs, all from the 80`s.

Experience

Let's just say music is my life and my source is a lifetime of knowledge about 80's music and then some.
